What we found in DESIGNLEDGE is a true business partner who takes the time to fully understand functional requirements, brand constraints, and the customer experience." Tanner Flynn Director of Marketing and Human Resources, Parasoleil
Parasoleil creates beautiful architectural panels for shade, screen, railing and cladding applications. They'd been around since 2006 but desperately needed a facelift to match the quality of their product. They were spending a lot of time on the phone with customers explaining their business model and the various pattern uses before having to relay the information to a sales rep. They had no way of tracking customer engagement or catering to various customer types and were relying on emails as their primary means of communication. In addition, they needed the ability to monitor and unify their national sales team. Most importantly, they wanted to help educate the customer on all aspects of their panels and patterns in hopes of converting website visits to sales.
We started with a custom website complete with a project estimator, file management and download area, lead capture form, pattern comparison tool, sales representative locator, visual pattern map, live Instagram photo embedding, and a custom blog to easily communicate their business model to visitors. With the help of custom iconography and infographs, we simplified their brand message and established consistency to ensure both novice and experienced customers could locate the information they needed. We tied it all together with a custom content management system allowing their team to login and edit almost every aspect of their site. In addition, the site captures customer engagement, customer estimates, and file downloads enabling the sales team to pick up right where the customer left off. Finally, we created a custom sales portal for their national sales team to track projects, forecast sales trends, and identify milestones. Oh, and if you're still reading, go to their website and enter the Konami Code for a useless and awesome surprise. (It's a designer thing).
